Q1- 2011 Neighborhood update: Thicket at Cypresswood in Spring Texas

Thicket at Cypresswood subdivision is located in Spring Texas. Just west of I-45 access via Cypresswood or Louetta at Mirror Lake Drive.

Residents have the convenient access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and major roads and highways (approx 1.5 miles to I-45),

Community Amenities include a club house, tennis courts and an Olympic size swimming pool.

The Thicket at Cypresswood   is in the Klein School District and feeds to the following schools:

Elementary: Haude

Middle: Strack

High: Klein Collins

The Thicket at Cypresswood Tax rate is 2.61%

HOA fees are approx 650. Annually

Location, Location, Location…, and School district are only a couple of reasons why this neighborhood remains very desirable, and has understandably remained unaffected by the overall housing market. Home values have continued to increase, up approx 20% over 2009 year-end average sales prices.

Due to the small amount of homes available in the neighborhood, market activity for the last 3 months in the Thicket at Cypresswood, show that no homes have sold, however the last 6 months activity shows 1 sale with a sales price of $215,000., and size of 2649 sf. Overall time on the market is just under 1  month.

There are currently 3 homes for sale in the Thicket at Cypresswood   neighborhood. If you’re interested in buying or selling a home in the neighborhood or the area in general, call or email Kimberly Whaley (832-576-4902 – kim@kimberlywhaley.com)
